  4. For Lost/Misplaced ECF Logins

    If you know your ECF login*, but have forgotten your password, you can reset your password by clicking here and following the instructions on the screen. The email address you enter must match your current ECF primary email account.

    *Your ECF login is your 5 digit federal court id number, plus your first name initial and last name initial.
    For example, John Doe's federal court id number is 4295, his ECF login will be 04295jd
    (use a leading 0 if your bar id is less than 5 digits).

    If your email address has changed or does not match the one listed in your ECF account you will need to complete and submit the Attorney Reset Password form.

  5. You may also email for assistance. Please include your federal court ID number.

  6. For CM/ECF Technical Failure, please use the following email addresses for alternative submission (see section 12 of the ECF Policy and Procedures Manual):
